I am a forty two year old female, and noticed that after my first child was born, my hair began to fall out. After the birth of my second child I became even more worried, as my hair fell out even more.

I have tried every pill and potion on the market, and although some of the products did improve my problem a bit, nothing really made a major difference. My children, who are both teenagers now, begged me to do something about it, as they did not want to have a bald mom!

My first appointment was on the 21 August 2000. At the consultation Dr Alexander decided that I should only use the topical medication, and not the combination of oral with topical medication due to past medical problems which I had had. I must admit that I was disheartened, as I felt that it would not work as well as the combination treatment, but what could I lose by trying as my hair was falling out anyway.

My treatment began and I applied the medication religiously. It paid off!

In only six months my hair has become thicker, as new hair is growing. It does not fall out in handfuls anymore. The candy –floss texture has changed to a more manageable texture.

The treatment really has made a difference. My husband and children can notice the difference, but best of all, I can notice the change. For someone who had a cupboard full of hair treatments, I have at long last found something that really works, and that I can afford.

It is the best thing I could ever have done.
